At the beginning of the book Paine Underwood tells his son, "I'm not a common criminal. I know right from wrong." (p. 3) Do you agree with Paine? Why is he in jail and does he deserve to be in jail? You may either respond to these questions or respond to another student's comment.

ReplyDeletePaine is in jail because he dammeged Dusty`s boat.(twice throughout the book.)
-----------------------------------
Paine deserves to be in jail because he shouldn`t have vandlizied Dusty`s boat even if Dusty`s doings were wrong too.
I agree that he isn't a criminal because it wasn't like he was robbing a bank or anything. He just broke some pipes because Dusty was flushing his holding tank into the basin. I do but don't agree with Paine Underwood being in jail. He admitted to sinking the boat and all. But Dusty was flushing the stuff from the restrooms into the basin!! That is elegal!! At the end he was caught but didn't go to jail. He only had to pay a ten thousand dollar fine for all of that. A bartender named Shelly and two kids named Abbey and Noah go on a mission called opration Royal Flush. There grandfather that everyone thought was dead came back to North America after ten years. He helps Noah, Abbey, and Shelly on there opration Royal Flush. Then about a day or two later someone burned the Coral Queen. The boat that is flushing his holding tank into the basin. Does the opration work? Does it not? Who burned the boat? You have to read the amazing book Flush. You are not going to mad if you read it.
