When Kek comes to America he is faced with odd phrases that do not make sense to him like,

"The kids will eat you alive."

These phrases are called idioms. Can you think of an example of an idiom that Kek or another ESL student may find confusing? How would you explain the meaning of the idiom to a student who is learning English?

    like its a killer.i would explain it by talking about like different contests like racing and different things that would take alot of effort to do and it would be like it was really hard to do and when finished the person would be very tired and relifed.samantha from mrs.fest
